CLEANSING AND DETOXIFICATION PROGRAM

During your detoxification make sure you do these few things throughout the week:
1. Drink plenty of water (make sure it is filtered water not tap)
2. Get at least 6-8 hours of sleep
3. Do not schedule a busy week (keep stress levels low stress can create more toxins in your system)
Symptoms that you could experience:
1. Fatigue, headache, bad breath, nausea, skin rash, flu or cold symptoms, emotional irritability, gas The toxins are
going to leave your body in several different ways, and everyone is different so people’s symptoms will very.
The goal is to give your digestive system a break. Your whole life your digestive system is constantly working, it needs a rest.
Schedule your colonics for Day 7 and Day 8 do this now so you can have your appointments on the right days.
There are three things you will need to purchase at the store to have on hand:
Probiotics; you can find these at your local whole foods store in the refrigerated section of the herbs and supplements. (They must be refrigerated).
Hydrogen Peroxide can be purchased at any local grocery store; it should be 3% strength, use caution if you get anything of a stronger strength. Use this to gargle with instead of mouth wash.
A detoxifying Epson salt to bathe in at night
During this time you need to use toiletries with the least amount of chemicals and extra added materials to them, try and get all natural deodorant, toothpaste, soap, body washes, face cleansers, etc. The point is to try and get rid of toxins so why continue to put more toxins in your body during the period of detoxification
Start following “Eating on the Wheel” diet (see Eating on The Wheel page) and continue following these rules throughout the entire program and use this as a guideline on how you should be changing your lifestyle habits
Use these rules of eating the right things at the right time and eating the right combination of foods, even if you are at the juicing stage you should only be doing fruit juices in the morning and veggie juices in the later afternoon and evening. So follow the rules no matter what phase of your detox you are in.
DAY 1:
* Cut out all un-natural things (Example: coffee, sugar, cigarettes, alcohol, boxed foods, animal products including dairy (these take much longer to digest), fast foods, fried foods, etc.)
* Lower your consumption of solid foods (fats, carbohydrates, proteins) your diet should be consisting of mostly fruits and vegetables, you need to have a more alkaline diet.
* Start to juice carrots or beets for at night
* Add to juice twice a day
- A pinch of cayenne pepper
- A pinch of garlic powder
* Take two Elixirs - Add to Elixirs:
- Goldenseal
- Ginkgo
- Echinacea
- Grape fruit seed extract
- Cat’s claw
Sunbathe 5-30 minutes without glasses or contacts
30 minutes of light cardiovascular workout (walking, yoga)
Sit in a Sauna or Steam room for 10-30 minutes (you want to sweat out toxins) rinse off in cool water, you sweet out 30% of your toxins.
Take a 20 minute bath with detoxifying Epson salts
DAY 2:
Follow Day 1 exactly
DAY 3: (Only fruits, veggies and juices)
* On an empty stomach (in the morning when you wake up) drink 1 quart of warm water with 2tsp of sea salt
* Increase amount of juices that you consume
* No solid foods just fruits in the morning and veggies at night
* Juice carrots or beets for at night
* Add to juice twice a day
- A pinch of cayenne pepper
- A pinch of garlic powder
Take two Elixirs - Add to Elixirs:
- Goldenseal
- Ginkgo
- Echinacea
- Grape fruit seed extract
- Cat’s claw
* Sunbathe 5-30 minutes without glasses or contacts
* 30 minutes of light cardiovascular workout (walking, yoga, rebound)
* Sit in Sauna or Steam room for 10-30 minutes (you want to sweat out toxins) rinse of in cool water.
DAY 4: (Only fruits, veggies and juices)
Same as day 3
DAY 5: (Only fruits, veggies and juices)
Same as day 3
DAY 6: (Only Juice)
* On an empty stomach (in the morning) drink 1 quart of warm water with 2tsp of sea salt
* No solid foods or fruits or veggies only juices
* Must be fresh squeezed non-pasteurized juice, the best thing is to juice everything yourself, use a juicer and juice press
* Your Elixirs can now only be mixed with juices, you can blend with ice but no whole fruits, it must be only juice
* Add to anyone of your juices:
- A pinch of cayenne pepper
- A pinch of garlic powder
* Take two Elixirs - Add to Elixirs:
- Goldenseal
- Ginkgo
- Echinacea
- Grape fruit seed extract
- Cat’s claw
* Sunbathe 5-30 minutes without glasses or contacts
* 30 minutes of light cardiovascular workout (walking, yoga, rebound)
* Sit in Sauna or Steam room for 10-30 minutes (you want to sweat out toxins) rinse of in cool water
DAY 7:(Only Juice)
* Same as day 6
* Schedule your first colonic to be on this day
DAY 8: (Only Juice)
* Same as day 6
* Schedule your second colonic to be on this day
DAY 9: (Only Water)
* Only water - this gives our systems 36 hours of rested time so that our bodies can focus on eliminating waste from our organs and tissues
* Make sure that you drink a good source of water (do not drink tap water)
* Do not have anything except water until the morning of Day 10
DO NOT JUMP RIGHT INTO SOLID FOODS
DAY 10:
* Keep juicing fruits and veggies
* Add in a small amount of fruits and veggies during the day
* Take two Elixirs
- Take the first Elixir with only juice
- Take second Elixir with fruit mixed in
DAY 11:
* Keep juicing
* You can now eat fruits and veggies
* Slowly add in solid foods (small amounts at a time) for dinner
* Example: 1 cup of brown rice
* Steer clear of animal products for one more day
* Take two Elixirs with mixed fruit
DAY 12:
* This day should be how you eat on a regular basis as defined by “Eating on the Wheel”
* This should be your diet
* Eating fresh fruits and veggies
* Taking elixir daily (essential phytonutrients)
* Eating good sources of carbohydrates, proteins, and fats
* Combining your foods right and eating the right thing at the right time
TAKE A LOOK AT THE “EATING ON THE WHEEL” TO GET AN IDEA OF HOW YOU SHOULD EAT DAY TO DAY; LEARN IT AND KNOW IT, THIS WILL HELP YOU MAKE GOOD CHOICES WHEN YOU ARE OUT IN THE WORLD.
IT WOULDN’T BE A BAD IDEA TO GET ONE OR TWO MORE COLONICS WITHIN THE NEXT 3-4 WEEKS OR DEAMED BY YOUR COLONIC PRACTINIONER.
The idea behind a detoxification/cleansing program is to rid your body of toxins that could potentially be of great distress on your body.
